He’s looking for the young man killed the night before. On a canal, Domenico, a vampire who’s a part of the Congregation, gets off of a boat. She discovered a spider under her covers and woke up right before it came at her face. Side Note: Diana is still having the spider dream. Charles, the caretaker of the place, greets him. Specifically to get away from Diana who he’s obviously drawn to. Speaking of Matthew, he’s driven out to his estate to hunt and to get away for a while. She hunts him down with a name whispered across her lips. That’s a little too kinky for him so he takes off running. Suddenly the woman bites him, revealing that she’s a vampire. They meet up in an alley leading to a bridge and it gets hot and heavy pretty quickly. The kind that’s impulsive and swoons you. Let’s recap!Ī game of cat and mouse is going on between two strangers–a gorgeous woman and a young man who’s playing tourist. This week Diana figures out who she can trust and Mathew decides he can tell Diana about his research. And he’s just one of many who are seeking it out. Last week, Diana opened the Book of Life and attracted the attention of Mathew, a vampire, who wants the book so he can further his research to save vampires, demons, and witches.
